Product description Bean Sprouts

These sprouts of Vigna radiata are cultivated in complete darkness and at warm temperatures within a specialised hydroponic environment with a continuous supply of clean water. The cultivation cycle is ultra short, with the sprouts reaching peak freshness within four to seven days after soaking the seeds.

The sprouts have straight, firm stems with white to cream coloured hypocotyls to which the small yellow green beans remain attached. In the kitchen they are valued for their crisp, juicy texture, fresh neutral flavour and subtle nutty undertone.
