Colombian coffee, primarily Coffea arabica, is cultivated in mountainous regions between 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level. The combination of altitude, volcanic soil and equatorial climate allows for slow bean development, resulting in a complex and refined flavour profile.
The beans are typically hand picked at peak ripeness and processed using washed methods to highlight clarity and acidity. The cup profile is bright yet balanced, with notes of citrus, red fruit and caramel sweetness. The body is medium to full, with a clean finish and well defined aroma.
