Product description Spinach

Spinacia oleracea grows in open Dutch fields and is cultivated as a cool season crop. Through carefully selected sowing times in early spring and late summer or autumn, bolting caused by heat is prevented. The result is a harvest of tender, juicy leaves with a mild, earthy and lightly sweet flavour.

The leaves are rich in vitamins, iron and antioxidants. Due to limited shelf life, rapid cooling and an efficient cold chain are essential to preserve freshness for three to five days after harvest.
