Product description Vanilla

Vanilla planifolia is cultivated in Dutch high tech greenhouses as a climbing orchid. Growing takes place in a carefully controlled tropical environment with high humidity and precise temperature management. Unlike traditional vanilla, this variety is harvested as a fresh green pod months before the usual curing stage. At that moment the pod is straight, bright green and juicy with a firm, moist structure.

As these pods are supplied fresh and uncured, they lack the dark appearance and intense vanillin aroma of dried vanilla. Their uniform length and thickness offer a rare and refined culinary experience.
